PC's Julie Pinson (Eve) won't be pinned down to one particular look or style. I'm a chameleon," she says. "I wear so many different types of things. During the day, I'll run around in a baseball cap, T-shirt and sweats. When I'm going out at nigh, I like to look a little trendy. I'll wear a little black dress and a pair of funky heels. When I have to go to an event for the show--that's when I go shopping."

PC's Julie Pinson

The Fashion File

As PC's Eve, Pinson wears lots of designer clothing from Donna Karan and Bisou Bisou. Since joining the soap, she's beefed up her own wardrobe, with items from Todd Oldham, Mark Wong, BCBG and Katayone Adeli. "i'm not the type of person who will scor the thrift shops. I'll spend a little on a nice outfit, but I'm always on the lookout for sales," she says. The actress has one rule of thumb when she's shopping: "I don't have a model's figure, so if it looks good on my curves, I'll buy it."

Pinson frequently relies on always-in-style black separates and dresses. One of her favorite pieces is a slip dress by Katayone Adeli. "It falls just past my knees and had a slit in it. I can wear it with a lot of different shoes, and sometimes I'll addd a funky hat, or wrap a sweater around my waist and I'm ready to go anywhere."

A confessed shoe hound, Pinson has many of the latest styles from Charles David, Charles Jourdan, Martinez Valero, DKNY and her favorite, Jack Purcell Converse sneakers, in her closet. "I just love shoes," she laughs.

Pinson looks for clothes that accentuate her curve figure, often opting for black separates and dresses and stylish, strappy shoes.

The Beauty Bit

Pinson isn't a believer in high-priced department store skincare products. She's been using the same tried-andtrue products for years: Dove Soap and Oil of Olay Moisturizer SPF 15. "I've been using them forever," she says. "When I was younger, I experimented with Lancome and Clinique, but Dove and Oil of Olay are the best products for my skin." Another fabulous beauty esstential that Pinson recommends can be found at the drugstore: Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. "For three dollars, it's amazing--it dries up blemishes very quickly and really helps tighten up your pores."

Pinson's practical, down-to-earth approach to beauty keeps her looking good without constant visits to the salon. She even does her own nails, shopping at beauty-supply stores for her favorite shades of polishe from OPI, Orly and Essie. "On the show, I sometimes where a glinty gold color from MAC that is really rich-looking, versatile color," she says. Pinson also keeps her makeup bag stocked iwth lip and eye colors from MAC.

But Pinson is mum about who keeps her signature shag cut looking camera-ready. "So many people ask me where I get my hair cut," she laughs. "I stopped telling them. I don't want to see myself coming and going all over the place." She will divulge her favorite scent: Mariella Burani, a romantic fragerence that is sold in select boutiques around the country.

Exercising Her Options

"I watch what I eat," says Pinson. "I'll have fruit in the morning, a huge salad for lunch (thank God I like green, leafy vegetables) and a chicken breast for dinner." The actress admits that being on television has "changed my diet radically. It is almost like they're paying me to stay in shape." To stay fit, Pinson works out with a trainer twice a week, using weights, and runs on the treadmill every other day. "I'm curvy," says the 5-foot-7 actress. "I'll never be one of those skinny types. I have to work at it."
